Terms & Conditions For The GoLove Event

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED HERE ARE JOINTLY WRITTEN BY WOWWWZ, GOCAR & THE PICHA PROJECT, THE 3 CO-ORGANISERS OF THE GOLOVE EVENT.

From here on, a person who will be participating in the GoLove event would be referred to as the “participant” while Wowwwz, GoCar & The Picha Project will be collectively referred to as “the organisers”.

The Organisers WILL NOT tolerate ANY objectionable behaviour OR abusive participants

As a participant of the GoLove event, you are expected to carry yourself in a civilised & socially acceptable manner throughout the event. Any unruly or offensive behaviour (sexual or otherwise) would not be tolerated.

Actions that amounts to unruly or offensive behaviour includes but is not limited to:

(a) Speaking loudly or rudely to another participant or person

(b) The use of excessive profanities during a conversation

(c) Engaging in any lewd or sexual behaviour

(d) Harassing (sexual or otherwise) a fellow participant or person

(e) Bullying in any way

(f) Shaming in any way

You are required to report any such incidents to us, the organisers as you see fit.

We take reports very seriously. We would review them and take appropriate action during the event itself.

Participants Are Responsible For Their Own Safety While Driving & Participating In Activities

Throughout the GoLove event, participants are responsible for taking care of their own safety, be it while driving or participating in activities. The organisers of GoLove shall not be responsible for any accidents, injuries or harm suffered by any participant throughout the duration of the event.

As a participant, you also agree to indemnify the organisers, namely Wowwwz, GoCar & The Picha Project against any accidents, injuries or damages. Participants should understand the risk involved in attending this event and participate willingly having fully understood and bearing all the risk.

The Event Will Be Documented On Video And The Organisers Reserves The Right To Use Footage Which Might Contain Participants’ Likeness & Voice (Although We Try Not To) For Media & Documentation Purposes

A video crew would be present at the event to document it for media and documentation purposes.

As a result, footage or images of participants’ likeness or voice may be used in the final version of a production video that will be used for media or documentation purposes.

As a participant, you are deemed to have consented to such use of your likeness or voice by the organisers or any media entity that covers this event.

Participants Are Responsible For Their Own Actions & Behaviour Throughout The Event & Agree To Indemnify The Organisers Should They Deliberately Or Negligently Cause Harm Or Injury To Others Or Themselves During The Course Of The Event.

Any action taken by any participant during the event are deemed to be his or her own and he or she shall be fully responsible for their own actions and behaviour.

Participants shall be fully responsible for their own actions and behaviour throughout the entire event should they deliberately or negligently cause harm or injury to others or themselves.

The organisers would also be indemnified by any injuries, claims or damages caused by any participant to themselves, other participants or third parties.

The Organisers Reserves The Right To Remove Participants From The Event Should The Participant Behave In An Unruly, Offensive Or Inappropriate Manner.

Should the organisers deem a participant to be disruptive, behaving in an unruly, offensive or inappropriate manner, the organisers reserves the right to remove said participant from the event and event premises at any time during the event, using appropriate force when necessary.

This is to protect other participants from harm should such an event occur.

Photography & Videography In Relation To Refugees

Due to the sensitive nature of the activities involving refugees and their families, participants are required to refrain from taking any pictures of videos of refugees faces during the entire course of the event.

This is to protect their privacy and well-being.

Keeping The Location Of Refugee School A Secret

Participants shall also agree to not disclose the location of the refugee school or share any images of the exterior surroundings of the refugee school in order to protect the well-being of the refugees and their families.

Indemnity Clauses For The GoLove Event

Indemnity From Accidents

The organisers, namely Wowwwz, GoCar & The Picha Project shall not be liable for any damages or injuries caused by any form of accident that occurs during the course of the event, including while driving, on the road, while walking, being at the various activity premises as well as while carrying out group or individual activities during the event.

By participating in the event, the participant shall be deemed to have agreed to indemnify the organisers from such claims.

Indemnity From Injury, Claims Or Harm Suffered Participants

Should the participant be so unfortunate to suffer any injury, harm or damages to property during the course of the event, the organisers shall not be liable for any of them.

By participating in the event, the participant shall be deemed to have agreed to indemnify the organisers from such claims.

Indemnity From Injury Or Damages Caused By Participants To Each Other Or 3rd Parties

Should a participant cause injury or property damage to another participant or 3rd party, the organisers again shall not be liable for any of such claims.

This is because by participating in the event, the participant shall be deemed to have agreed to indemnify the organisers from such claims and bear full responsibility over their own actions.

Indemnity From Participants Own Actions

The organisers shall also not be liable for any claim or damage resulting from the participant’s own actions throughout the duration of the event. Any action by the participant is deemed to be their own and they alone bear the full risk of responsibility of any resulting consequences.

Talent Release Clauses

Video

Participants shall agree to the presence of a video crew that would be present throughout the event that will be documenting the entire event for media and documentation purposes. As a result, footage of participants likeness or voice might end up being used in the final video that would be used for media and other purposes.

By participating in the GoLove event, the participant is deemed to have agreed to consent to the use of their likeness or voice during the event for such media, marketing and documentation purposes by any of the 3 organisers, namely Wowwwz, GoCar, The Picha Project and any other media outlet that covers the event.

Images

By participating in the GoLove event, a participant is also deemed to have given consent to images of their likeness being captured by photographers or members of the event that might be used for media, marketing or other documentation purposes by other participants or any of the 3 organisers.

Use Of Likeness & Voice

In summary, by participating in the GoLove event, a participant is deemed to have agreed to the use of their likeness and voice captured during the event for media, marketing or other documentation purposes by other participants, any of the 3 organisers and any media outlet that covers the event.
