1. How are you different from Tinder, Paktor & Match.com?

Tinder & Paktor suggest matches based on looks/appearance & location. The match quality is very poor. You get a lot of random strangers and there are a lot of transsexuals and prostitutes as well.

Match.com forces you to fill in lengthy forms and surveys, which is very tedious and hard to use, but the match quality is good.

Wowwwz facilitates and accelerates the natural introduction between friends by leveraging on our social graph as friends praise each other and answer short questions about themselves. We match people who share the same interests, values and friends in a fun and social way as friends praise each other. This produces quality matches with recommendations and reviews/praises from trusted mutual friends.

2. What are your defining features?

You can just type in the kind of guy/girl you like (e.g. tall, kind, religious, man-utd fan) into the search bar and a list of all the single guys/girls who are your friends friends who are tall, kind, religious and man-utd fan will appear.

You can then swipe right and start chatting if there is a match.

In the chat, we will also suggest an activity for you to go on your first date based on what you both like.

You also have trusted praises/reviews from mutual friends such as Friend thinks Friend’s Friend is nice.

3. What if you don’t want people to tag you on facebook when they praise you?

You can just set your settings on facebook when someone praises you using Wowwwz.

On your wall, set the Wowwwz post to “Hide From Timeline” or “Remove Tag”.

4. Will you receive a facebook notification when someone praises you on Wowwwz and shares to facebook?

6. How do you make money?

3 Ways. Advertising, Micro-charging & E-commerce.

Brands use Wowwwz to run social campaigns, build their brand and boost their viral reach. E.g Starbucks loves coffee-lovers, get RM5 off if 10 friends think you are a coffee-lover.

7. Would someone/brands pay for it? Do you have a paying customer already?

Yes, we already have a paying client, Max Clean Services Sdn Bhd, which owns Majestic Leather Restore, that Is paying us RM5,000 to run a social campaign with Wowwwz for bag-lovers.

8. How do you discover/meet other singles?

2 main ways.

From the search bar, just type in the attributes of the guy/girl you are looking for
From your news feed, as you friends praise each other, Amanda thinks Johnson is nice

9. Can users see each other on facebook and talk on facebook directly.

You can message a stranger, even if you have mutual friends on facebook, but it will go to a hidden inbox. The person might not get it, and it will be strange, like a stalker.

It is better to view them on our app, swipe right like tinder, and if there is match, you can start chatting on the wowwwz app. On the wowwwz app, we will also suggest topics and activities for you to do, and even get discount vouchers, based on what the both of you like.

10. What is your cost of acquisition per customer?

Now, for the web app, it is RM1.45 per sign up. For mobile apps we do not know, it might be more expensive.

11. Which stage are you at/what do you have now?

We have a working MVP, a web-app, where friends can praise each other, share to facebook, have custom share images, search for people based on attributes and discover each other as friends praise each other.

We have a viral coefficient of 27. That means for each power user that signs up and praises friends, 27 people will sign up as a result, and out of those 27, 7 are not friends of that first user.

12. What is your development timeline?

Our ios and android apps with push notification will be out by 8^th of August. We will have a Merdeka launch contest that ends on 31^st of August.

We will keep adding chatting, matching & many other features along the way.
